Interactions with other animals and people:
- The favored prey of the population in Windwyrm territory appears to be the Amadàn, a deer-like creature also found in Dutoria, though the population there doesn’t go out of its way to hunt them exclusively.
- They appear to have a symbiotic, or even simply mutually beneficial relationship with the Vulture Hounds, occasionally called Vultrolves or Wolvtures, assisting in taking down prey, and even leading them to fresh kills, and vice versa.
- It is considered taboo in certain places, usually in the Whiteneedle Barony in the Windwyrm Kingdom, to hunt and kill Righin, due to their cultural associations, though this is less so than… say, a Roc or other far more bird-like creatures.
- Righin are fairly elusive, and hard to spot thanks to their camouflage. Thus, not much is known about them, and they have yet to be properly observed in captivity.
- Frosinn is an individual Righin believed to be roughly 55 years old, give or take. His appearance is believed to have been caused by getting caught in a snowstorm from the Frozen Gates in his youth. While he has significantly mellowed out in his old age, he is still incredibly deadly, and should not be underestimated. It is best to avoid his territory at all costs, as while he has seemingly stopped eating humans, that doesn’t exactly stop him from actually killing them. Same goes for any dragons who go that far.
