Northern Shipwrecker Appearance
Physical FeaturesNorthern Shipwreckers live in the cool climate of the Moonglow Sea and are large, heavyset dragons with whale-like hide and a scattered scales on their face.
They have whiskers growing on their nose, chin, forehead, and even cheeks; these get longer with age. Some older Northerners have whiskers so long that they drag along the ground when they walk. Their flesh is a pinkish colour, and their blood is red. They have a pair of forward-facing, narwhal-like horns. They have powerful tails with a whale-like flipper used to swim and dive deep into the ocean to hunt. They do not have gills, but instead are capable of holding their breath for up to an hour and a half, and have a set of blowholes on their forehead rather than nostrils. They have conical, whale-like teeth that vary little in size and are useful for catching fish. Colours & PatternsNortherners are less variable in their colouration than their southern counterparts, taking after whales/seals/shark species from cold regions, usually coming in variations of browns, greys, black and white. Their eyes have rectangular, octopus-like pupils that are always very dark or black in hue. Their irises can be gold, silver, blue, etc - anything save for black or completely white.
